A candidate running for Wisconsin’s 1st Senate District seat has received a big endorsement.
Republican Nic Cravillion received an endorsement earlier this week from Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain.
The sheriff says he’s had the opportunity to work with Cravillion and found that he is dedicated to serving others.
Delain added that “It is clear that Nic cares deeply about Northeast Wisconsin and will do an excellent job representing us in Madison.”
Cravillion said he is honored to have Sheriff Delain’s support, adding that Todd has dedicated his career to serving the people of Brown County and keeping communities safe.
Nic also said he will work to ensure law enforcement officers have the support and resources they need to do their jobs and keep Northeastern Wisconsin a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
This is not the first sheriff to support Cravillion.
Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski also endorsed the 1st district Senate candidate.
Cravillion is running against Independent Mark Becker for the state senate seat after long-time State Senator Andre Jacque announced he would not seek another term.
