A countywide domestic abuse organization is honoring the strength of survivors through a special art event.
InCourage is presenting The Art of Resilience tomorrow from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the UW-Green Bay Manitowoc campus.
It will be a time to remember those impacted by domestic violence and raise awareness in the community while allowing attendees to explore inspiring artwork created by members of the community.
The event includes light hors d’ oeuvres and a hot apple cider bar as the organization recognizes the resilience of survivors and the importance of supporting those affected by domestic violence.
Artists were asked to submit their media by September 18th.
Each piece will show the name of the person who submitted the art, the title, and a brief statement describing the inspiration, meaning, or story behind the piece.
After the event, InCourage artists are asked to take their artwork home or donate it to the organization for possible future display.
