There are a pair of meetings scheduled to kick off the month of October in the City of Manitowoc.
Up first is the Public Works Committee, which will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
After giving the public time to comment, the group will discuss items related to the proposed reconstruction of Michigan Avenue between North 13th and 18th Streets, an amendment to the Washington & Calumet Sanitary Sewer Plan Preparation, and an unbudgeted request for concrete paving on North 2nd Street from Reed Avenue to the north side dead end.
Closing out the day will be the Crime Prevention Committee, which will gather in the Meeting/Training Room in the Public Safety Building.
After getting their usual monthly reports, the group will get the latest on the pastor gift card scam and will discuss the annual Crime Prevention Award.
These are the final meetings for the week in the Clipper City.
