A local home builder is inviting the public out to celebrate their new facility and 27 years of serving the community.
Brandon Bartow founded Bartow Builders in 1999, and ever since, the company has been helping build and renovate living spaces across Eastern Wisconsin.
Brandon and the rest of the Bartow team will be on hand to celebrate 27 years of business and for a ribbon-cutting at their new office and shop, located at 7330 English Lake Road tomorrow evening.
Not only will guests get the chance to celebrate, but they can also look at all the thought that went into this new space.
“What we’ve done is we’ve taken the space, and we’ve incorporated many options,” Brandon explained. “When people are thinking about building a remodeling, they could see what painted trim looks like in their house versus stained trim in their house. We’ve incorporated different door styles into our offices, the individual offices, and there’s different hardware. But when you’re walking the space, it will seem seamless.”
Brandon has worked on numerous projects over his nearly three decades in the industry, but he says the best thing about it has always been the people.
“Whether it’s the people that are working with us at Bartow Builders, whether it is our trade partners who help us get these jobs done every day or the most important is the customer, the people have been by far the greatest reward of the 27 years,” Bartow told SeehaferNews.com.”
There have been many changes in the industry over the past 27 years, from the price of products skyrocketing to the amount of technology that can be installed in homes, but that is what keeps Brandon excited all these years later.
“We embrace change at Bartow Builders,” he said. “We know that things are going to change and we’re excited about that. That’s what’s awesome about our industry. It’s always changing. There’s always something new.”
But one thing that has never changed is how personal the decisions they make at Bartow Builders are to the customers.
“This is their home. This is the place where memories are made. This is the place where we get the opportunity to improve their lifestyle, and it is very significant to them,” he explained. “There’s a lot of emotion in it, and we have to learn to separate that emotion and get it down to facts and help the customer understand the facts so that we can remove some of that emotion to be able to do our job, but yet also respect the emotion because they are spending a lot of hard-earned money.”
As for the future of Bartow Builders, this new facility plays a big part in that.
“78% of the work that we were doing was south and west of our previous spot on Albert Drive,” Brandon explained. “So, were were like, ‘We’ve got to we’ve got to start thinking about this.’ Especially now with gas prices and fuel prices, I’m glad we did.”
Brandon also pointed to the additional work his team is getting in Sheboygan County, and the expanded sales force as major reasons why Bartow Builders will continue to thrive for the next 27 years.
The ribbon-cutting celebration will begin at 4:00 p.m., and all are invited to attend.
