After three weeks of significant increases, motorists in Eastern Wisconsin are getting a bit of relief at the pump.
Since this time last week, the average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel fell 18 cents to $4.30 in Manitowoc County, according to the AAA Gas Prices website.
This is still 50 cents higher than the start of September, 77 cents higher than the summer low of $3.53 in the beginning of July, and $1.83 higher than the five-year lows experienced in January.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County saw a decline of 8 cents to $4.32, and Calumet County’s average is down 18 cents to $4.29 per gallon, Outagamie County prices fell 17 cents to $4.21, Brown County’s average fell 13 cents per gallon to $4.27, Kewaunee County is down 15 cents to $4.30, and Door County motorists are paying 18 cents less per gallon, with an average of $4.28.
The state average is down 15 cents to $4.25, while the national average dipped 13 cents to $4.34.
