Manitowoc Firefighters will be back out on the street raising money for a cause this week.
The annual Fill the Boot campaign runs today (September 29th) and tomorrow (September 30th), with Manitowoc Firefighters scheduled to be on Franklin and South 10th Streets.
The firefighters will be carrying boots and walking up to vehicles to collect money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
If you don’t want to drop off money in person, Manitowoc Fire Rescue has set up a donation page as they work to raise $1,000.
Since 1954, firefighters across the nation have shown up for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, raising over $700 million to support research, care, and advocacy for people living with the disease.
