Another convicted sex offender is set to be released from prison today (September 29th) in Eastern Wisconsin.
Micheal A. Bird has served 19-years in prison after being convicted on charges of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child, and will be residing in the 400 block of Thomas Street in Fond du Lac.
As a part of his release, Bird was ordered to have no unsupervised contact with any minor, no contact at all with the victim, and to maintain absolute sobriety.
He will also be forced to comply with standard sex offender rules, including being monitored electronically, and to be a lifetime registrant of the Sex Offender Registry.
The Fond du Lac Police Department notes that Bird has served his time as imposed by the courts and is not wanted at this time.
Any use of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass him will not be tolerated.
