There is only one meeting today (September 28th) in the City of Two Rivers.
The City Council will hold a work session in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m., where they will hear input from the public.
Then, they will discuss the Mishicot Area Ambulance coverage plan.
The organization is considering a partnership with the City, which would have the MAAS share staffing with the Two Rivers Fire Department.
Under the concept being studied, Two Rivers Fire Department paramedics would provide ambulance transport throughout the MAAS service area, which is something that is already occurring regularly with understaffed shifts.
The proposed staffing model calls for five additional Two Rivers firefighter/paramedic positions and the transfer of two MAAS ambulances and related equipment to the City.
The Council may also vote on an extension of the WPPI Long-Term Power Supply contract through 2073.
