Another Sheboygan County man has been charged in a child sexual assault case involving a family member.
Court records show that 37-year-old Jesse TenPas of Sheboygan is facing nine charges, including multiple counts of First-Degree Child Sexual Assault, Second-Degree Sexual Assault with the Use of Force, and Incest with a Child.
In Tenpas’ first appearance in court in the case back on August 14th, Court Commissioner Ryan O’Rourke set the 37-year-old’s bail at $750,000 cash.
Court documents also reveal that the allegations against Tenpas are said to have taken place between October of last year and July of this year, while information suggests the minor victim is currently just 9 years old.
Over the last two months, court hearings have stalled due to TenPas being without legal representation in the case, however, this week, he was appointed a lawyer through the Public Defender’s Office, allowing the hearings to resume.
TenPas now returns to court on October 16th for a preliminary hearing.
