A Medford man is facing charges after a short pursuit over the weekend.
A Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation on Military Road near West 9th Street just after 4:00 Sunday, but the vehicle sped up.
A short pursuit ensued, lasting about half a mile, until the driver turned down a dead-end road.
The yet-unnamed 29-year-old man from Medford was arrested on charges of Fleeing or Eluding Police and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and was cited for Operating Without a Valid License, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Possession of Open Intoxicants, and OWI.
No one was injured in the incident.
