A man is in custody after allegedly hitting two workers in a New Berlin parking lot and fleeing the scene.
Authorities said the 49- and 29-year-old men were performing maintenance work Saturday morning when they were hit.
Both victims are expected to survive their injuries.
Police later arrested a 35-year-old man during a traffic stop. Investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the incident.
Authorities are referring a hit-and-run causing injury charge to the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office.
