An author from Sheboygan is sharing her sobriety journey in her debut book.
Amanda K’s Comma Day: One Woman’s 1,000 Day Pilgrimage of Healing, Hope, & Embracing Sobriety, is described as a “raw and honest introspection following the first 1,000 days of her sobriety journey.”
Throughout the memoir, she shared journal entries, Instagram posts, and personal reflections to create a comprehensive look at the trials and tribulations of becoming sober.
Amanda says of the book, “If you told 10-year-old me that in 30 years, I’d just then be self-publishing my first book which was about my sobriety journey, I think my tiny heart would have broken. I’m glad no one told me this. … Adult me is watching a childhood dream come true, and that’s a pretty big deal no matter how long it took.”
She will be on hand for a meet and greet/book signing at WordHaven BookHouse, located at 923 North 8th Street in Sheboygan, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Novermber 14th.
Comma Day is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart, Word Haven, and writtenbyamandak.com.
