A GoFundMe has been started for the family of a Sheboygan man who was killed in a recent motor vehicle crash.
A 55-year-old Sheboygan man was driving on I-43 in Green Bay when he was rear-ended by another vehicle.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The 29-year-old man in the other vehicle was arrested on a felony charge of Operating While Suspended Causing Death.
The victim’s name was not released, but his son, Toney Tran, said in the GoFundMe, “He was funny, stubborn, caring, outspoken, and imperfect, but he loved his family deeply. He tried to help people whenever he could, whether that meant helping family, supporting others through donations, or simply lending a hand. He was simply himself, and that is what made him special to the people who knew him.”
Toney is raising funds to help his mother cover funeral expenses and to give her “some financial breathing room during this unexpected and devastating loss.”
The funeral will be held on October 1st at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home in Sheboygan.
