Dozens of Milwaukee tenants are out of their homes after city officials ordered the immediate emergency evacuation of two west side apartment buildings.
City inspectors declared the properties on West Michigan Street uninhabitable yesterday after discovering severe electrical hazards, including tampered fuse boxes.
Residents were given just 30 minutes to grab essentials before being forced out into the street.
