A police officer in Sheboygan is being commended for his work on a recent investigation.
The Sheboygan Police Department has announced that Officer Justin Harris has received a Community Impact Award from Sheboygan’s Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT).
This recognition comes following Officer Harris’ “excellent dedication and skill while handling a complex domestic violence investigation.”
The department also explained that the award was bestowed upon Officer Harris for his willingness and ability to collaborate with service partners “to identify the safest and most supportive approach for the victim in that case.”
This marks the third Community Impact Award handed out by the CCRT this month, as SPD Officer Kalen Buchner and Youth Justice Worker Taylor DuMez were also commended for their work as well.
