A Milwaukee Public Schools employee faces a felony child abuse charge after allegedly grabbing a student and scratching their neck.
Court documents show 37-year-old Margaret Galligan-Nordquist was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court following the incident at Trowbridge Street School.
A judge set a $5,000 signature bond during her initial court appearance last week, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 25th.
Galligan-Nordquist could face up to six years in prison if convicted.
