UW-Madison is celebrating its highest standings in two decades after landing eighth among public universities in the latest U.S. News & World Report national rankings.
The flagship campus climbed to 34th overall while securing top spots for specialty programs like real estate and risk management.
The school also made gains in affordability, jumping 23 spots in the best value category and ranking fourth overall for in-state value.
Interim Chancellor Eric Wilcots says it reflects the university’s broad academic excellence and dedication to preparing future leaders across every discipline.
