The City of Manitowoc is reminding property owners of an upcoming deadline.
All special assessments bearing a due date of November 1st, 2026, will automatically be transferred to the tax roll on that date.
Special assessments are issued for things like street, sidewalk, sewer, water, or other public improvements, and when they are moved to the tax roll, the property owner is placed on an installment plan to pay the balance.
Anyone with any questions is encouraged to contact the City Clerkâs Office, either by calling 920-686-6950 or by stopping into City Hall between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays.
