A 30-foot concolor fir from Endeavor, north of Madison, is heading to Washington, D.C. to serve as the 2026 Official White House Christmas Tree.
A White House official selected the winning tree yesterday during a visit to Silent Night Evergreens Farm.
Third-generation farm owner David Chapman earned the opportunity after winning a national contest, marking the fourth time his family’s farm has provided a Christmas tree for the White House.
The tree will be trimmed down to 18-and-a-half feet before being transported to the nation’s capital ahead of Thanksgiving.
