A judge has amended a Mishicot man’s bond conditions in his child sexual assault case.
Court records show that Judge Anthony Lambrecht is allowing 38-year-old Travis Besaw to have supervised audio and video contact with his three youngest children but has kept his cash bail at $500,000.
Besaw is still not allowed to have contact with two people involved in the case, no contact with anyone else under 18, must maintain absolute sobriety, and is not to possess any controlled substances or alcohol.
The 38-year-old faces several charges including 1st-degree child sexual assault, repeated sexual assault with the same child, incest with a child, and five counts of possession of child pornography, among others.
Besaw is accused of continually forcing his daughter to have sexual contact with him over the past three years, beginning when she was just 14 years old.
It is further alleged that he supplied the child with drugs and alcohol in exchange for sexual favors and would threaten to turn her in to the police for her drug use if she told anyone about the ongoing abuse.
