
The Manitowoc Lutheran Lancer Football Team remains undefeated as they posted a convincing 42-0 victory over the Random Lake/ Ozaukee Bison in a Big East Conference game played in Random Lake Friday night.
The game was scoreless after one quarter, then the Lancers took control, scoring 42 unanswered points for a convincing win.
Their defense continues to dominate as they pitch their fifth consecutive shutout, limiting the Bison to 118 total yards on 48 total plays (none passing).
The only score against the Lancer “D” was a defensive touchdown scored by Brillion back in week two.
Manitowoc Lutheran rolled up 301 yards on only 30 offensive plays as senior Josiah Martin had a huge night, accounting for 197 total yards from scrimmage: 162 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns, plus 1 reception for 35 yards.
Sophomore Ethan Brooks carried the ball 7 times for 54 yards and a touchdown, while junior linebacker recorded 8 total tackles, including one tackle for loss.
Manitowoc Lutheran improves to 3-0 in the Big East and 5-0 overall, while the Bison fall to 1-2 in the Big East and 3-2 overall.
The Lancers return to action next Friday night as they host Oostburg on Homecoming, which is part of the Night with the Lancers” festivities.
The kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Coach Heiderich Field.
