The Indian Community School in Franklin is closed for the rest of the week following an armed confrontation on school grounds.
Franklin police arrested a 62-year-old man Wednesday after he allegedly aimed a handgun at a school employee during a dispute over property line landscaping.
Officers took the suspect into custody for recklessly endangering safety, but no injuries were reported.
The school, which serves hundreds of students from Indigenous families across Wisconsin, plans to reopen for regular classes on Monday.
