A faculty member in the Sheboygan Area School District has been given a major honor.
The District has shared that Alyssa Boutelle has been named the Wisconsin School Social Workers Association (WSSWA) School Social Worker of the Year.
Boutelle currently serves as a social worker at both Sheboygan South High School and Wilson Elementary School.
Regarding her work, her supervisor, Director of Special Education and Pupil Services Jason Ledermann stated, “Alyssa Boutelle exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding school social worker and collaborative leader. She approaches every student, family, and colleague with empathy, compassion, and genuine care, while maintaining objectivity and a student-centered perspective…Her recognition as WSSWA Social Worker of the Year is a well-deserved reflection of the impact she has on our students, staff, families, and school community.”
