Young, up-and-coming artists will be showcased this weekend in Sheboygan.
Rock in the Park will be held on Saturday (September 19th), a multi-performance show hosted by local high school band The Doorknobs.
The show will feature the event’s hosts, a four-piece rock band of students from Étude High School, along with Nightwatch, a Sheboygan-based hard rock and metal group, as well as Dead on Erie, a fellow alternative rock band from Sheboygan.
The show will be held at City Green in Downtown Sheboygan, running from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
While the concert will be free to attend, The Doorknobs will also be fundraising through an on-site brat fry and a 50/50 raffle, with a portion of the proceeds raised set to be donated to the Étude Middle and High School music programs.
Meanwhile, free drinks will be provided throughout the day thanks to Bigby Coffee.
The live performance will also be recorded, mixed, mastered, and released as each of the three bands’ first-ever live albums.
