UPDATE:
Manitowoc Police tell Seehafernews.com that there were no injures due to the semi tipping over and crews are working to try and get it back upright. They are also trying to get another trailer to get all the crushed cars towed away.
ORIGINAL STORY:
A semi carrying crushed cars looks to have tipped over earlier this morning in Manitowoc.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 42 and 151.
Crews were seen removing the crushed cars from the back of the semi with small bulldozers.
Traffic is being detoured away from the accident, with the northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 42 from US 151 to Gass Lake Road being closed.
Cars coming westbound on 151 were also moved into a single lane to let emergency crews work at the scene.
How the semi ended up on its side is unknown at this time, but Seehafernews.com reached out to law enforcement for details.
Drivers should avoid the area until the accident is cleared, but it’s not known how long it will take.
