A man is in custody after hitting an officer’s squad car head-on in Sturgeon Bay.
Officers responded to the hit-and-run Saturday afternoon after the suspect ran into the back of another car and continued driving.
The driver got off at the Michigan Street roundabout and collided with the police car.
The driver said he had a gun, got out of his car, and ignored commands to stop walking, leading to him being shot with a stun gun.
The man was taken into custody and is awaiting charges.
