One person is dead after a Monday morning crash in Washburn County.
The accident happened shortly after 8 a.m. near US Highway 63 Southbound and DVM Road.
A pickup truck turning onto 63 hit a motorcycle at the intersection.
The motorcycle operator, a 34-year-old Shell Lake man, suffered injuries that proved fatal.
The accident remains under investigation.
