A Cleveland man accused of sexually assaulting his own daughter is looking to change the plea in his case.
37-year-old Joshua Ganzel is scheduled for a plea and sentencing hearing today in Manitowoc County court.
He was originally scheduled to be sentenced last month, but it was pushed to today for an unspecified reason.
A criminal complaint alleges that Ganzel took nude photos of his daughter while she was asleep.
When interviewed by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, deputies say the 37-year-old admitted to having his daughter perform sexual acts on him before asking his stepson if he would join in.
He’s facing numerous charges, including two counts of 1st-degree child sexual assault, repeated sexual assault of the same child, two counts of incest, child sexual exploitation, and soliciting a child for prostitution.
