
No one was hurt during a lockdown at Wilson Middle School in Manitowoc.
Detective Sergeant Jason Denk with the Manitowoc Police Department tells SeehaferNews.com that authorities were dispatched to the school this afternoon on a report of a student with a weapon.
While the investigation is ongoing, Detective Denk says that students of interest have been identified and no weapons were located.
No students or staff were injured during the lockdown, and at last update, all students are considered safe.
Parents of any student at Wilson are asked to avoid the area, and it is anticipated that students will be released at their normal dismissal times.
Currently, the Manitowoc Police Department has no further details on the situation that it can provide.
