The City of Kiel Fire Department is inviting the public to tour its facilities.
They are hosting a service open house on Sunday, September 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at their fire station on East Fremont Street.
Families are encouraged to stop by and check out their facilities and apparatus while exploring other equipment the community has provided over the years.
Activities at Kiel’s open house will include an obstacle course, fire extinguisher training, an EMS demonstration, and more.
The Kiel Fire Department will also open its brand-new training tower for viewing at 2:30 p.m., located near Cemetery Road and Belitz Drive.
The department will also host an official dedication ceremony at 3:15 p.m.
