A Wisconsin legal group is suing to put limits on AI-powered Flock surveillance cameras in Waukesha County.
The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty filed the lawsuit yesterday seeking to require a warrant or a valid warrant exception for certain searches.
WILL says more than 120 Flock cameras operate in the county and can create detailed records of vehicle movements.
The group says it does not want the cameras removed, but wants safeguards to balance law enforcement needs with residents’ privacy rights.
