There are a ton of local high school athletics on the calendar for today.
Two state-ranked girls’ volleyball teams from Manitowoc take to the volleyball court tonight.
Manitowoc Lincoln, ranked 13th in Division One, opens FRCC play in Green Bay against the Tritons of Notre Dame Academy, while Manitowoc Lutheran, ranked ninth in Division Three, looks for a fourth straight victory at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.
Elsewhere, Valders ventures to Random Lake, Mishicot hosts Kohler, Algoma visits rival Kewaunee, Southern Door is at Oconto, and Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy plays host to Sturgeon Bay.
There’s a top ten matchup in Division Four Boys Soccer as third-ranked Sheboygan Christian/Lutheran hosts the fourth-ranked Kohler Blue Bombers.
Other matches include Roncalli ventures to Cedar Grove-Belgium, Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah hosts New Holstein/Brillion, Sheboygan North is at Neenah, Sheboygan Falls hosts Marinette, Peshtigo plays at Kewaunee, Green Bay NEW Lutheran/ Providence Academy entertains Algoma, and Sevastopol/Gibraltar welcomes the Clintonville Truckers.
Elsewhere, Manitowoc Lincoln participates in the fourth FRCC girls’ golf mini meet hosted by De Pere at Ledgeview Golf Course, the Ships Girls Tennis team hosts Notre Dame Academy in a FRCC dual meet at Lincoln Park, and in girls swimming, Two Rivers/Roncalli is home for Valders/Chilton/Brillion.
Chilton also hosts a co-ed cross-country invitational, with the field expected to include teams from Kewaunee, Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah, Hilbert, Southern Door, and Wrightstown.
