The public is invited to learn about life at the Sheboygan Marsh later this month.
The Sheboygan County Planning and Conservation Department has announced that the Kohler Center for Marsh Education Open House will be held on September 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This event is free to attend and open to individuals of all ages. The open house will feature free canoeing on the marsh thanks to Camp Y-Koda, search and rescue dogs, and hands-on learning opportunities for all ages.
There will also be make-and-take crafts including walking and hiking sticks and bird-friendly window clings, while interactive educational stations are intended to allow curious minds to discover the marsh at their own pace.
The Kohler Center for Marsh Education is located at W7113 County Road SR in Elkhart Lake, while more information on the open house can be found on the Sheboygan County Planning and Conservation Department Facebook page.
