The Manitowoc Police Department is in need of a relief crossing guard for this school year.
This part-time job offers children in the community a much safer experience traveling to and from school, as crossing guards encourage safe behaviors and proper street-crossing techniques at marked intersections.
Applicants must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions and must be able to alternate between standing and walking.
There are no guaranteed hours, as this is a relief position that provides coverage for other crossing guards as needed.
The starting pay is between $15.75 and $17 per hour, and applications will be accepted at GovernmentJobs.com until the position is filled.
