The Manitowoc County Drug Court is continuing to shine a light on its many success stories.
Since its inception in 2017, nearly 70 people have graduated from the program, which is designed to help people get back on the path to sobriety.
The 68th graduate was honored on August 5th, and another recent graduate, Jensen, is using his second chance at life to pursue a career in the culinary arts.
The Court said of Jensen’s work, “This accomplishment reflects commitment, courage, perseverance, and a belief in what is possible in recovery. Through his hard work in the program, Jensen has been working to build a foundation for a healthy and successful life—and now he is turning his passion for cooking into an opportunity for a career and a future he can be proud of. We are honored to witness this journey and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes him.”
You can follow more of these success stories on the Manitowoc County Drug Court program Facebook page.
