Applications are open for the DATCP’s Food Security and Wisconsin Products Grant Program.
This program was created to provide funding for nonprofit organizations for the purpose of buying food for Wisconsin’s food security network.
They also work toward supporting the growth and operations of Wisconsin food producers and processors.
They are looking for strong proposals that demonstrate a clear capacity to purchase Wisconsin foods and increase their availability throughout the state.
The food purchased must be handed out to Wisconsin communities at no additional cost, and funds must be used to support Wisconsin suppliers and serve Wisconsin communities.
Selected projects will begin working this December, and a total of $5 will be awarded to those selected.
All applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on October 1st.
