A local beer garden will be celebrating Sheboygan’s rich German culture this month.
The Tributary Beer Garden has announced it will be holding its first annual Oktoberfest celebration on September 12th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the banks of the Sheboygan River.
Throughout the day, the beer garden will have multiple Oktoberfest lagers on tap, with food available as well.
Live music will be available thanks to The Waltzmeisters, along with a stein-holding contest hosted by Samuel Adams.
The Oktoberfest celebration will also feature kids’ activities and Hammerschlagen run by students at Etude School, with all proceeds benefiting the school.
Those really looking to get into the spirit can also preorder a custom Tributary Beer Garden stein, which includes the first fill of an Oktoberfest lager at the event.
More information on the Oktoberfest celebration, including a complete schedule, is expected to be released in the near future and can be found by visiting the Tributary Beer Garden Facebook page.
