A new exhibit is coming to the Manitowoc Public Library (MPL).
As part of the traveling History Makers Tour, the Wisconsin Historical Society will bring “Great Lakes, Small Streams: How Water Shapes Wisconsin” starting on September 8th.
MPL says that the Great Lakes region is home to one of the largest freshwater resources on the planet, with water shaping the landscape, history, and communities of Wisconsin.
Admission to the exhibit is free and it is located on the 1st floor of the north side of Manitowoc’s library, and it can be seen during regular library operating hours.
The History Makers Tour is one way the Wisconsin Historical Society is serving learners and history lovers in the lead-up to the grand opening of the new Wisconsin History Center in early 2027.
