Charges are being filed against a La Crosse man accused of trying to kill his girlfriend.
Police say 29-year-old Zachary Thompson hit the woman multiple times with a baseball bat Wednesday night.
The woman survived the attack with serious injuries.
Thompson is in custody and faces charges including attempted first degree intentional homicide.
