A Wisconsin man is going to prison for a long time for a violent 2024 attack on a woman in northern Illinois.
Raymond Link was sentenced to 65-years after he was found guilty of attempted murder and aggravated battery.
Prosecutors say the attack happened in May 2024 while the woman was walking her dog in Petersen Park in McHenry.
Link beat, stomped, and strangled the victim, leaving her with life-altering injuries.
