A Manitowoc man free on bond for a long list of crimes, including sexually assaulting a child, has been picked up on new charges.
34-year-old Logan Green was given a $10,000 cash bail by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch on Monday (August 31st) on charges of False Imprisonment, Battery, and Felony Bail Jumping.
This comes as Green is out on a $100,000 personal recognizance bond out of Langlade County for a long line of charges, which include Sexual Intercourse with a Child, Third-Degree Sexual Assault, Child Exploitation, and many more.
In his local case, the 34-year-old has been accused of punching the victim and holding her against her will.
Assistant District Attorney Ryan Michaels revealed that a recording of the incident taken by the victim showed Green threatening to kill the victim, her parents, and how he intended to do so.
During the bail hearing, the victim spoke, noting that she is “terrified” of Green and fears for the safety of herself, her children, and her parents.
Following this, Green went on a minutes-long diatribe despite being advised not to speak, admitting he had done the things he has been accused of and charged with.
The outburst led Commissioner Scharenbroch to note that she only felt more concerned after hearing him speak on the matter.
Green will now return to court on Monday (September 8th) for his initial appearance at 1:30 p.m. in Branch 1.
