Jan Graycarek, a beloved longtime resident of Mishicot, passed away peacefully early Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at ABridge Care Cottage in Kewaunee.
She is survived by her children: Wendy (Doug) Novak of Green Bay, Rick (Karen) Graycarek of Elizabethtown, KY, and Traci (Curt) Weis of Appleton. Her grandchildren include Danielle (Alex) Peterson, Briana (Travis) Roubal; Patrick (Ashley) Graycarek, Kara (Zac) Henderson, Kate Graycarek, Keagan, Peyton, Brynlie, and Cailynn Weis. She is also blessed with great-grandchildren: Brody, Noah, Eleanor and Sadie. She is further survived by her sister, Judie Lehman, and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Carol (Jim) Cookle, Diane (Gary) Garrigan, Tom (Kathy) Graycarek, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry, and a brother, Richard Bergman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. Family will welcome friends and relatives from 9:00 am until 10:45 am for visitation in the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Father Leo Kondru will officiate. Interment in the Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum in Manitowoc will happen at a later date. There will be no visitation on Friday evening.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
