A man from Indiana has been federally charged in a child sexual exploitation case linked to Outagamie County.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin has announced that 50-year-old Christopher L. Guinn of South Bend, Indiana, has been indicted on one federal count of Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
The indictment alleges that Guinn engaged in online communications with an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a 12-year-old girl.
During the communications, the 50-year-old sent the undercover officer numerous sexually explicit images and videos, soliciting the same in return from someone he assumed was just 12 years old.
Further investigation revealed that Guinn was in possession of child sexual abuse material and had attempted to sexually exploit other children from across the country.
This case was investigated by the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI’s Green Bay Resident Office, the Wisconsin Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and numerous law enforcement agencies in Indiana.
