WOMT Sports Talk reaches a milestone Monday (tomorrow) night as the show that first aired in September of 2010 celebrates its 800th show with help from a couple of icons of Green Bay Packers lore.
Joining the show will be Green Bay Packers President and CEO Emeritus and current Executive in Residence at UW Green Bay Mark Murphy and the current and longtime public address voice of the Packers, Bill Jartz.
Murphy served as Packers President and CEO from December 3rd, 2007, until his retirement in July of 2025. He was instrumental in expanding the Packers brand, with numerous achievements that include creating The Titletown District and bringing the 2025 NFL Draft to Green Bay, a process that took nearly a decade to complete.
Murphy is also the only one in NFL history to win a Super Bowl as a player with the Washington Redskins in 1983 (Super Bowl 17) and as an executive with the Packers in 2011 (Super Bowl 45).
Bill Jartz is best known for his tremendous television career, which began in Wausau, Wisconsin, at WSAW Channel 7 in 1983.
He came to WBAY TV-2 in Green Bay as a sports reporter in 1993, before moving to the news desk in 1998, where he remained until his retirement on May 23rd, 2025.
He begins his 21st year as the public address voice of the Pack this season, a role he’s served since 2005, and he’s a tireless philanthropist who gives of his time freely, helping practically any non-profit organization that asks.
Tomorrow night’s show airs from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. at the home of Sports Talk, Salute to Everyone. located at 1107 South 10th Street in Manitowoc.
