Local dogs are invited to an upcoming event in Sheboygan next month.
The Sheboygan Dog Training Club will be hosting a Responsible Dog Ownership Day event on September 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the club’s grounds located at 4802 Najacht Road.
While National Responsible Dog Ownership Day will be celebrated on September 19th, this event will look to offer local dog owners educational resources to ensure their furry friends are well-behaved and properly taken care of.
The event will also feature an agility course, many photo opportunities, a pet costume parade, and much more.
Those who do want to attend with their dogs will be required to sign a liability waiver.
Meanwhile, all dogs present must be kept on a six-foot leash, and retractable leashes are not permitted.
This event, and Responsible Dog Ownership Day as a whole, is supported by the American Kennel Club.
