A Brookfield alderwoman wants to take a closer look at the city’s contract with Flock.
Catherine Kahler says the $40,000 contract fell below the $50,000 threshold needed for a council vote, so the contract was approved without the council.
She claims city leaders haven’t had much of an opportunity to see how resident data is being used by the license plate reader system.
Kahler told TMJ4 News she has faith in the police department to use the technology correctly, but is unsure how it is accessed outside of law enforcement.
