Two local higher education institutions are expanding their partnership to help area students.
Lakeland College has announced that it will be hosting an open house on September 10th to showcase its new presence on the campus of Lakeshore College in Cleveland.
Lakeland states that this will “further strengthen a longstanding partnership that has helped students seamlessly continue their education while supporting workforce needs across eastern Wisconsin.”
Through what’s known as the Lake to Lake partnership, students at both schools have benefited from clear transfer pathways aiming to simplify the transition from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree while minimizing time and cost.
This longstanding partnership has also helped prepare students for the ultimate transition into the workforce as well.
Regarding the news, Lakeshore College President Dr. Paul Carlsen added, “Together, we’re helping students achieve their educational and career goals while strengthening the workforce and communities we serve.”
