The Wisconsin DNR’s statewide call center will not be available for a couple of days.
Starting today (August 26th) and continuing into tomorrow (August 27th), DNR customer and outreach service staff will attend training on what the state agency calls “continued customer service excellence.”
The training dates were picked because they coincide with the lowest license sales and phone call volume.
The DNR Tipline, Emergency Spills line, and Wisconsin Emergency Management hotline will still be open for phone calls.
Services can also be accessed online, while hunting and fishing licenses can be purchased at gowildwi.gov.
The DNR also provides a map of license agents who can renew boat and recreational vehicle registrations, order ATV/UTV trail passes, and help people obtain fishing and hunting licenses.
Counter services will return this Friday.
