Uptown Social to Host Blood Drive as American Red Cross Supply Remains Vulnerable

As blood supplies remain vulnerable across the country, a local organization is looking to help out.

Uptown Social in Sheboygan will be hosting a blood drive tomorrow (August 27^th) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to benefit the American Red Cross.

Those looking to donate blood are asked to set up an appointment over the phone or online.

This comes after the Red Cross declared the second-ever national blood supply crisis earlier this summer.

While the response nationwide to this declaration has helped fill the gaps, on Monday (August 24^th), the Red Cross stated, “As we enter September, the blood supply remains vulnerable — especially as we approach new seasonal challenges.”
