Motorists in most Eastern Wisconsin counties got a (very) little bit of a break at the pump over the past week.
The average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel in Manitowoc County fell by a penny since this time last week to $3.92, as reported by the AAA Gas Prices website.
Conversely, Sheboygan County saw its price jump eight cents per gallon to $3.84 after a twelve-cent drop last week.
Despite the major fluctuations, Sheboygan County is coming in with the 7th lowest average in the state.
Elsewhere, Calumet County’s average is down two cents to $3.94, Outagamie County saw the biggest drop, four cents to $3.86, while Brown County’s average is also down a penny to $3.86.
Kewaunee County reported a two-cent dip to $3.88, and Door County motorists are paying one cent more per gallon this week at $3.88.
Throughout the state, the average remained unchanged at $3.90, good for the 14th lowest in the country, while the national average rose two cents to $4.10.
